    Pillow Talk are a homeware and bedding specialist retailer in Australia. With over 68 stores, most of their sales come from in-store transactions but their online sales continue to grow which is an impressive milestone in today’s retail climate.

  • The Objective

    To elevate their online presence while attracting new customers online at scale. As their digital marketing agency, we are continuing to trial new platforms and ad placements to grow their customer base and revenue. 

  • The Challenge

    The challenge was finding a premium, new ad placement to launch their “Style Reset” brand campaign that would enable Pillow Talk to reach unique audiences and generate online sales. 

  • The Solution

    Pillow Talk ran a Premiere Spotlight 3-day takeover, which allowed them to have 100% share of voice on the platform with exclusive placements on the Pinterest home feed and search pages. The people who saw the Premiere Spotlight placement were then shown ads showcasing Pillow Talk’s product range, moving them down the path to purchase. 

    To take this a step further, we implemented a retargeting strategy to help boost their conversion rates — retargeting the people who had engaged with the Premiere Spotlight ad through a catalogue amplification campaign. This meant we could re-engage potential shoppers to enhance brand recall and increase sales opportunities.

The Result

This activation helped boost conversion rates and saw a 21x return on ad spend. Additionally, Pillow Talk reached 3.5x more users beyond their regular marketing activities.
