Why mobile friendliness is a must with ecommerce

Recently, the mobile search landscape transformed with Google’s mobile friendly updates (playfully dubbed ‘mobilegeddon’).

Google’s new algorithms reward mobile optimised websites and penalise mobile unfriendly websites in an effort to deliver a smooth, user-friendly experience for mobile users.

Mobile internet usage is on the rise. In fact, mobile’s share of global web traffic has jumped 39% since 2014, with one third of all web pages now served to mobile devices.
